The MCP is a single-action, conventional, normally-open, dry contact signal initiating device designed to require one distinct user action for alarm activation, requiring the push button to be pressed until fully engaged to initiate the signal. This model is further enhanced by an integrated Fire Telephone Jack, which allows emergency responders to establish a direct, supervised communication link with the Command Center using a standard fire-fighter handset. This dual-purpose design ensures that both the alarm initiation and dedicated emergency voice communication can occur simultaneously through a single, durable interface without signal interference.
